APPOINTMENT PREPARATION
Review and follow the steps below prior to each session to ensure the best possible outcome:
- No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before your session
- No blood thinners
- Shave or trim hair to the length you ensure to maintain
- Ensure your hair and scalp are thoroughly cleaned prior to appointment
- Avoid sun and UV exposure for at least two weeks prior to appointment
- Stay hydrated! Drink lots of water leading up to the appointment
SMP AFTERCARE
Day 1-3:
- No water on the head
- No excessive sweating
- No working out
- No soap, shampoo, conditionner, lotion of any kind
- No scrubbing or scratching the scalp
DAY 4-9:
- Warm water to rinse the head (no soap)
- Light activity is permitted
- Gently pat sweat off the scalp
DAY 10:
- You may return to your normal head-washing and workout routines
- Ensure you wear a hat and sunscreen to protect your scalp

How long does micropigmentation last?
You should expect the strength of the color to last many years. Over a time the color will gradually begin to lighten. When this occurs you can undergo a brief “touch up” session to restore any fading and enjoy many more years of their style. -

Scalp Micropigmentation, is otherwise known as a cosmetic hair or scalp tattoo and is a semi permanent cosmetic makeup. This treatment typically lasts 4-6 years. After that time you may notice some slight fading but you can come back in for a quick touch up.
